FAQs
What is Vortex Wireless (VW)?
Vortex Wireless (VW) is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP). With VW, you get Internet speeds up to 50 times faster than a typical dial-up connection. But speed isn't the only advantage. Imagine no dialing in, no busy signals, no unexpected disconnects, and no charge for a second phone line - This is the Internet service you’ve always wanted!
How does a wireless internet connection work?
VW has constructed transmission towers that "beam" a high speed Internet signal to your home or business. Your computer receives this signal via a small antenna that either sits on your desk, or is mounted outside your home or business. Although the signal is wireless, all transmissions are encrypted to ensure your privacy.
